In July 2005 Golf Balkan Ltd. was commissioned to build the prestigious 18 hole Championship Gary Player Signature Course “Blacksearama” situated on the cliffs overlooking the Black Sea near the town of Balchik, Bulgaria. Gary Player personally visited the project many times during the construction.



Golf Balkan was praised for the very high standards and the quality of the construction works of this world class golf course. Seeding of the golf course was completed in December 2007 as planned, but severe winter and spring storms caused major damage to the finished areas. These areas had to be repaired and re-seeded in early 2008.



Golf Balkan completed the project in May 2008. The Golf course was then officially handed over to the owners at this time.
